4:00 pm ET Games
Chiefs 34 @ Broncos 28
Buccaneers @ 49ers
Panthers @ Seahawks
7:26 – The 49ers held the Buccaneers on a third and one attempt. Tampa went for it, the ball popped loose, but the Buccaneers were able to recover and get the first down. That’s seems like the theme for the Buccaneers today.
7:21 – With less than a minute remaining, the Seahawks score on a pass to Marquise Goodwin as Carolina looked like they just gave up on the play. We now have a six-point game with an onside kick upcoming.
7:17 – The Panthers add another three points with a field goal after the two-minute warning. That brings the score to 30-17 against the Seahawks.
7:15 – My goodness, how many Broncos does it take to bring Isiah Pacheco down? He just barreled his way through the defense like a bowling ball for a Chiefs’ first down. That also just sealed the win for Kansas City.
7:04 – Another interception! This time, the Chiefs returned the favor and picked off Rypien.
7:02 – Intercepted! Mahomes threw his second interception of the day and the Broncos are right back on offense.
7:00 – Raheem Blackshear has been getting involved in the second half for the Panthers. He has logged 32 yards on four carries for a touchdown. They extend their lead 27-17 over the Seahawks.
6:53 – The touchdown for the Buccs was good. They can now avoid a shutout.
6:50 – Well, that touchdown was interesting. Brady’s pass was bobbled by Chris Godwin but Russell Gage was right there to recover for the score. The play is under review… it has been for a hot minute.
6:46 – Rypien fired a seven-yard touchdown pass to Jeudy for his third touchdown of the game. The Broncos cut the Chiefs’ lead to 34-28 with 10:49 left in the game.
6:42 – Wilson narrowly escaped a sack and ran for the first down. He took a big hit and also hit the ground hard and he doesn’t look good. He basically landed on his head. Brett Rypien is in at QB.
6:33 – On fourth down, the Panthers go for it on the four-yard line. Foreman got the carry and the first down. However, their offense stalled and they are facing fourth down yet again and they go for it again. Darnold was nearly sacked but managed to throw it away. The drive resulted in zero points for Carolina.
6:31 – Brady threw his second interception of the day and it’s looking gross in San Francisco for the Buccaneers. The 49ers lead Tampa Bay 35-0.
6:30 – Darnold just had a 26-yard run to get the Panthers into the red zone.
Mahomes finished off his drive with a touchdown pass to JuJu Smith-Schuster.
6:27 – McKinnon is having a game today. He logged another reception, this time for 19 yards to get the Chiefs to the 10-yard line.
6:21 – And he’s off! McCaffrey broke off a big run complete with a stiff arm for a 38-yard touchdown run.
6:19 – Ouch. Wilson just took back-to-back sacks for a loss of 20 total yards.
Tom Brady was just picked off. His right hand looks a little banged up.
6:04 – Oh, my word. Marlon Mack just scored a 66-yard touchdown for the Broncos on a pass from Wilson. They have 21 unanswered points on the Chiefs.
5:58 – Purdy just threw his first interception of the game but there is a penalty marker down. The penalty is on the defense which negates the interception and put the Buccs in field goal range. Holy cow, again! Purdy wound up and let it loose to Brandon Aiyuk for a 32-yard touchdown. Wow!
5:45 – Smith found Metcalf for a touchdown just before halftime against the Panthers.
INJURY UPDATE: Oh no! Deebo Samuel is on the ground and in a lot of pain. The play may have resulted in a fumble but the play is under review. Tampa may have recovered the fumble.
5:38 – Wilson has gotten the Broncos inside the five-yard line against the Chiefs with 14 seconds left before the half. He found Jeudy for his second touchdown on a five-yard pass.
5:29 – The reversed call was re-reversed to the original ruling of a touchdown on the field for Purdy and McCaffrey. That was confusing. Either way, the 49ers have a 21-0 lead over the Buccaneers and Tampa Bay just had to punt after their drive went nowhere.
5:27 – Oh, hey! Look at that. Jerry Jeudy scored a touchdown for the Broncos on an 18-yard pass from Wilson. They still trail 27-7 with 1:35 left to go before halftime.
5:23 – Holy cow! Purdy just found Christian McCaffrey on a beautiful pass in the end zone for 27 yards. The play is under review, however, so I’ll keep you posted. REVERSED. McCaffrey did not have full possession of the football and maybe his second foot was out of bounds. Now they are re-looking at it.
5:15 – Wilson just threw a pick-six. Yikes. The Chiefs extend their lead to 27-0 after the review.
5:10 – Smith drove down the field with nice plays by Marquise Goodwin and Tyler Lockett. Oh my goodness! Old school Lockett with the toe-drag-swag! He stretched out for the reception and barely tapped his tippy toes in-bounds for the touchdown. That was a thing of beauty.
5:09 – After the break, Purdy took it himself for a three-yard rushing touchdown. The 49ers lead the Buccaneers 14-0.
5:05 – The 49ers are on the two-yard line but they didn’t get the snap off before the end of the first quarter.
Argh! Travis Kelce just dropped a touchdown pass. Goodness, gracious, McKinnon scored his second touchdown on a short pass from Mahomes. The Chiefs lead 20-0 over the Broncos.
5:03 – After Foreman took two carries, Hubbard came back in for the touchdown. This is going to get messy for fantasy managers.
5:01 – Chuba Hubbard and D’Onta Foreman are splitting carries for the Panthers. On second down and three, Foreman gets the carry for a first down and goal.
4:57 – On third and 18, Brady hands it off to Leonard Fournette who only got about six yards. That was a head-scratcher.
4:55 – Tom Brady hit Mike Evans for a big touchdown, but a holding penalty took the score off the board. Ouch.
4:50 – Broncos fans are booing Russell Wilson after a sack and another stalled drive.
4:43 – Patrick Mahomes is doing Patrick Mahomes-like things. He underhand passed to Jerick McKinnon for a 56-yard touchdown. I mean… come on. The Chiefs are ahead 13-0.
Ryan Succop’s kick was way off the mark and the Buccaneers end their drive with zero points.
4:40 – Uh, oh. Geno Smith was just picked off and the Panthers will take back over on offense. Sam Darnold then found Shi Smith for a 13-yard touchdown.
4:36 – The Panthers had to settle for a field goal but they have a 3-0 lead early over the Seahawks.
4:31 – Now we have some action. Harrison Butker kicked his second field goal to give the Chiefs a 6-0 lead over the Broncos. Then, Deebo Samuel rushed in a 13-yard touchdown for the 49ers. They lead the Buccs 7-0.
4:27 – Brock Purdy is making his NFL debut start against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
4:10 – The Chiefs opened up the game with a field goal against the Broncos.

Jaguars 36 @ Titans 22
Eagles 48 @ Giants 22
Ravens 16 @ Steelers 14
4:05 – Davis Mills had only 41 seconds to do something on offense after the Elliott score. The Texans are now in Dallas’ territory down four points. His Hail Mary pass was intercepted in the end zone.
4:01 – Elliott just gave the lead to the Cowboys on a short, rushing touchdown.
3:58 – Michael Gallup may or may not have a touchdown. The play is under review. Nope. Ruled incomplete.
3:56 – Sorry, Jefferson managers. K.J. Osborn got the receiving touchdown for the Vikings who trail the Lions 22-31.
3:53 – What a catch, Noah Brown! He laid himself out to make an 18-yard completion.
3:50 – The Browns went for it on fourth down and Watson used his legs to convert. They will go for it on fourth down and goal. Peoples-Jones couldn’t come down with the football and the Browns turn it over on downs. Peoples-Jones is slow to get up.
Tannehill just hit Nick Westbrook-Ikhine in the end zone after taking a big hit. The game is a runaway for the Jaguars, but they cut the lead down a hair with the score. The play is under review. The touchdown was upheld and the two-point conversion was good.
3:47 – The Cowboys defense held strong and stopped the Texans from scoring. They turned it over on downs and escaped the interception.
Why not get everyone involved? Boston Scott just scored for the Eagles on a three-yard run.
3:46 – Lawrence should soon be done for the day and Gardner Minshew will be in at quarterback to finish up the game ahead 36-14.
3:44 – Ouch! Prescott threw his second interception but this time it was inside the 20-yard line. The Texans are leading 23-20 over the Cowboys and are in an excellent scoring position.
3:43 – The Jets logged a safety after they blocked a Bills punt in the end zone.
3:41 – Sanders ran in his second touchdown and this one was for a whopping 40 yards. The Eagles lead Giants 41-14.
The Jags settled for a field goal on their offensive drive. They have a commanding lead over the Titans at 36-14.
3:36 – Oh no. Henry logged his second fumble on a weird direct snap. The Jaguars have possession on the Titans’ 35-yard line.
Trubisky found Pat Freiermuth in the end zone (instead of the defense) and the Steelers cut the Ravens’ lead down to two points at 16-14.
3:34 – Watson made a great play to Peoples-Jones but he was gingerly stretching his leg after the pass. That’s something to monitor. Next play he was picked off by the Bengals who will take over on their own 35-yard line.
3:33 – The Vikings had to settle for a field goal. The Lions still lead 28-16.
INJURY UPDATE: The Ravens have officially ruled out Tyler Huntley who is in concussion protocol. It’s Brown the rest of the way.
3:25 – Justin Jackson (now with the Lions) just scored a 15-yard rushing touchdown. They extend their lead to 28-13 over the Vikings at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
3:21 – The Browns scored their first touchdown of the game on a pass from Deshaun Watson to David Njoku for 13-yards. Watson has 188 yards passing on the day so far and Njoku has 48 yards and a TD. Donovan Peoples-Jones leads in targets and yards with six receptions and 70 yards.
3:16 – Trubisky just took his second sack in the red zone. Let’s hope that doesn’t come in front of another end-zone interception. They called a timeout so we’ll have to wait. He ended up overthrowing Diontae Johnson on third down. Then the Ravens blocked the field goal. Rough.
Engram just scored his second touchdown against the Titans on a 21-yard pass from Lawrence.
3:12 – Adam Thielen was denied the two-point conversion after he scored a 23-yard touchdown for the Vikings. They trail the Lions 13-21.
Tyler Bass kicked his 13th consecutive field goal for the Bills who lead the Jets 17-7.
3:11 – Not having Higgins, Boyd, or Hurst is no problem. Burrow found Trenton Irwin for a big 45-yard touchdown over the Browns.
INJURY UPDATE: Mike White is now heading to the locker room.
3:08 – Jalen Hurts kept it on the ground and rushed in a touchdown for ten yards. The Eagles lead the Giants 34-14.
3:03 – Goff delivered a laser to Josh Reynolds for a 5-yard touchdown. The Lions lead the Vikings 21-7.
3:01 – Anthony Brown is in at quarterback for the Ravens instead of Tyler Huntley. Not sure what that is about.
The Jaguars capped off their drive with a rushing touchdown by Trevor Lawrence.
3:00 – The Cowboys turned it over on downs after Elliott was stuffed on fourth down.
2:56 – Four teams are getting ready to score. The Giants handed it off to Saquon Barkley who was held just short of the goal line, but Daniel Jones rushed it in on the next play. Ezekiel Elliott was tackled at the five-yard line. Josh Allen just rushed in a touchdown. The Jags and the Giants went on a commercial break.
2:55 – Trubisky threw his second interception in the end zone. The Steelers trail the Ravens 7-13.

Zonovan Knight bounced off of the Bills’ defenders for a 13-yard rushing touchdown. The Jets have just tied the Bills 7-7.

2:41 – It’s a winter wonderland in Buffalo!
2:36 – The Texans head into halftime with a 20-17 lead over the Dallas Cowboys. I did not see that coming.
2:30 – Lions just missed a field goal to try to extend their lead.
2:28 – Zay Jones nearly scored a touchdown for the Jaguars but he may have been out of bounds. Nope! After review, they reversed the call of incomplete to a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Samaje Perine just rushed in a six-yard touchdown for the Bengals who are short Higgins, Boyd, and Hurst.
2:26 – This time it was the Lions’ turn to create a turnover. They recovered a Dalvin Cook fumble on their own 18-yard line.
2:24 – The Bills put points on the board with a 24-yard touchdown from Dawson Knox who has been the bane of fantasy managers’ lineups.
Yikes, Henry was just tackled and he fumbled! The Jaguars recovered.
2:20 – Trubisky was just picked off in the red zone.
2:13 – Daniel Jones just found Isaiah Hodgins in the end zone on a two-yard pass after the Giants blocked a punt for excellent field position.
Meanwhile, Amari Rodgers (formerly of the Green Bay Packers) scored a 28-yard touchdown on a pass from Jeff Driskel. This came off the back of a Prescott interception. Not sure why Driskel was in a QB instead of Mills. Will keep you updated on that when I find out.
INJURY UPDATE: Tee Higgins is questionable to return with a hamstring injury. Boyd was officially ruled out with a finger injury.
2:10 – Flacco took one snap under center before White came back into the game.

1:47 – Dak Prescott hit Noah Brown on a 23-yard pass and the Cowboys are just outside of the red zone. Pollard rushed it to the five-yard line on an 18-yard run, but a false start penalty pushed them back five yards. Pollard sideways tiptoed his way into the end zone for his second touchdown.
Ryan Tannehill was just picked off by the Jaguars.
1:41 – Wow, what a catch by Dovanta Smith! He broke away from two defenders to make a beautiful touchdown catch from Jalen Hurts for 41 yards.
1:40 – The Texans took the lead with a field goal.
INJURY UPDATE: Mitchell Trubisky is in at quarterback after Pickett tried to go back in the game but they ended up pulling him anyway.
1:34 – Chigoziem Okonkwo is starting to make a name for himself as the tight end for the Titans. He scored a 10-yard receiving touchdown to give Tennessee a 14-7 lead over the Jaguars.
1:32 – J.K. Dobbins looks a little rusty after weeks on injured reserve, but he did just score a touchdown on a four-yard for the Ravens. They lead the Steelers 10-0.
1:26 – The Jaguars are knocking on the door against the Titans and the Vikings are in scoring position on the Lions’ three-yard line. Evan Engram got the touchdown receptions to give the Jaguars six points while the Vikings just drew a pass interference penalty. Dalvin Cook punched it in for the touchdown.
