Sunset+Vine has appointed Raj Mannick as its head of digital.
Mannick was most recently content director at IMG-owned sport content consultant Seven League, which he joined in early 2020 after almost two years as head of sport at Yahoo UK. He also spent almost seven years at ITN Productions, arriving as a broadcast journalist and leaving as head of sport and digital in 2018.
While at Seven League, he was delivering social strategy and content for Qatar at the FIFA World Cup 2022, and at Yahoo, he changed the focus of its content to video.
At Sunset+Vine, Mannick will be working with clients such as Amazon Prime Video, Channel 5, World Rugby, the Kennel Club, Henley Royal Regatta, Mobil1 The Grid and the Commonwealth Games, aiming to reposition the digital and social side of the business to reflect more closely the emphasis that Sunset+Vine puts on broadcast.
Sunset+Vine managing director David Tippett said: “We’ve got bold ambitions to expand our range of digital and social services and Raj’s appointment is a serious statement of our intent. He brings real experience, leadership and understanding to what is already a very talented team. We can’t wait for him to start in the New Year.”
Mannick added “I’m thrilled to join the talented Sunset+Vine team at a time when the landscape of sport continues to diversify and evolve. A trusted leader in sports production with storytelling at its heart, Sunset+Vine is uniquely placed to challenge conventions and help brands, rights-holders and broadcasters reach new fans in creative ways.”
