VACAVILLE — The city this week started a Covid Small Business Assistance Grant Program.
The City Council in September allocated $1 million in pandemic relief American Rescue Plan Act funds for the program, which is designed to “assist those business sectors in Vacaville (that) have sustained financial hardships caused or exacerbated by Covid-19 related mandates and are struggling the most to recover from the pandemic,” the city said in a statement.
“The city supports our local businesses and acknowledges the importance of showing this support in the form of financial assistance,” City Manager Aaron Busch said in the statement. “The City Council recognizes that businesses are the backbone of our local economy, and that fostering their success today, creates a prosperous future for Vacaville tomorrow.”
Program application and guidelines are available at https://www.ci.vacaville.ca.us/government/economic-development/covid-small-business-assistance-grant-program. Complete applications must be submitted electronically by 5 p.m. Dec. 2. For more information, send an email to [email protected].
