This is an integral role responsible for completing a range of SEO activities to deliver on the holistic SEO strategy, and to improve the organic performance of brand sites. The role will be responsible for coordinating and delivering activity across on-page, off-page and technical SEO pillars, as well as supporting brand teams during implementation.
- Support to monitor search results and search performance across the major search channels, using metrics such as rankings, click-through-rates, backlinks, organic traffic, domain authority.
- Produce SEO reports to support brands understanding of performance (Google Analytics 360, Google Datastudio, Google Drive etc).
- Utilise forecasts and commercials objectives in reporting and highlight relevant metrics (i.e. traffic, rankings, domain authority etc).
- Monitor crawling and indexing of sites, assessing the crawl/index status of web pages, and assisting to identify and resolve performance issues.
- Produce and support to implement SEO meta data, heading tags and sections of on-site copy which are optimised for target keywords.
- Support brand teams with Google Business Profile management and optimisation of listings to improve organic performance.
- Support on SEO analysis, audits, checklists, guidelines and recommendations to ensure the structure of websites and web pages meet SEO best practice.
- Assist with the implementation and administration of search engine programs (XML sitemaps, shopping feeds, webmaster tools) working alongside the SEO Manager, Digital Operations and Group Marketing teams.
- Assist the implementation of off-site SEO strategy across all brands, working alongside the SEO Manager and Brand Marketing teams.
KEY SKILLS
- Experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Basic understanding of the technical Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) process (i.e. page structure, rich snippets and markup audits)
- Experience working with popular keyword tools (Google Tools, SEMrush, MOZ, etc)
- Experience working with CMS and building/administering content in multiple CMS environments
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administration (i.e. optimisation of page load requests, video and imagery usage across rich content pages)
- High-level proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (i.e. SEO for Excel)
- Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics 360 as well as internal reporting tools (i.e. Google Datastudio, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, AWR Cloud etc)
- BS/BA degree required
- Very strong attention to detail
- Strong demonstrable communication and engagement background
