Amazon US is the gift that just keeps on giving right now when it comes to iPad deals. It’s rare to see new products discounted, so a cool $80 off a brand new 2022 iPad Air, now just $519 (opens in new tab), is excellent.
These models were only released in March this year, and you can’t get them for less than $599 directly from Apple. We’ve been lucky enough to have hands-on experience with this nifty little tablet, and were really impressed. It’s one of the best iPads for drawing (opens in new tab), and we love the range of colours it comes in.

It’s a very different story in the US, with Amazon knocking huge amounts off the entire iPad range. But topping all the deals so far is the 2021 10.2-inch iPad, now just $269 (opens in new tab)! Amazon often reduces this item, usually $329, a cool $30 saving is usually where the discount ends, so for the retail giant to double that saving is an offer not to be missed.
This item did drop to $279 just last month, but this takes an extra $10 off that to be the lowest price ever recorded on Amazon.

Morning to everyone in the UK. It’s Kerrie. Again. I’ve had multiple cups of coffee already this morning and am feeling a tad wired from the intense burst of caffeine and the EXCITEMENT OF ALL THE DEALS. (Sorry, it was a long night).
Ok, so where are we? The Amazon Prime Early Access Sale has started in the UK, and, I’m not gonna lie to you guys, my excitement was bought to an abrupt end when searching for iPad deals. Underwhelming is an overstatement. So far I’ve not seen anything different to yesterday, but, I cling to hope Amazon is saving the best offers for later today/tomorrow.
Seeing as Amazon hasn’t come up with the goods (yet), I had a scour around elsewhere and did manage to find the 2021, 9th generation 10.2-inch iPad for £275 on eBay (opens in new tab). The RRP for this device is £299, so it’s not a huge saving, but the cheapest you’ll find this popular model online in the UK right now.
Over in the US, there are still a few hours to go before the official Amazon Prime Early Access sale starts, but there are some iPad deals to be grabbed right now, including $100 of the 2021 iPad mini – now from just $399 (opens in new tab). There’s also up to $70 off the 2022 iPad Air (opens in new tab), reducing the price of the newest, M1-chipped iPad to just $559 for the starting configuration.
We’ve had time to go through all of the official members-only Prime Early Access deals on Apple products that went live in the UK at midnight, and there are no iPads to be found, so the best Amazon iPad deals are still those that we’ve listed above, which are open to non-Prime members.
If you’re interested in what Apple deals are available for Prime members only, it’s mainly iPhone 13 Pro – up to 7% off (opens in new tab)and Apple Watch (Series 7 and SE), at least for now. The saving on Apple Watch are similar to those that we saw during Prime Day, with £40 off the GPS configuration (opens in new tab). But the biggest Apple saving at the moment is £375 off a 2020 27-inch iMac – now £1,624 (opens in new tab).
The Amazon Prime Early Access Sale has officially begun in the UK, and so far the best Amazon sale iPad deals on offer are not Prime-only deals – they’re open to everyone. You can save £34 on the 256GB configuration of the 2021 10.2-inch iPad – now £424.99 (opens in new tab), but perhaps the more tempting is up to £40 off the 2021 iPad mini (opens in new tab).
We really like the iPad mini (pictured above) since it’s more powerful than the standard iPad, but also more compact, at 8.3in. That makes it a great option for drawing and other creative work on the go. Amazon has £20 off the basic 64GB configuration (now £459). That doesn’t give you a lot of storage, but there’s £40 off the 256GB version, now £579.
If you’re hoping for Amazon deals on other Apple products as well as the iPad, then we have some good news. Right now, Amazon has $50 off the brand-new Apple Watch Series 8 (opens in new tab). The deal is only available on the 45mm GPS configuration, but it’s a great saving to find considering that the Series 8 was only released last month.
We’re hoping that this might bode well for more Apple deals, including Amazon sale iPad deals. Remember you can find more savings like this on our main Apple Amazon sale page.

Released in March this year, the new iPad Air 2022 is a thing of beauty. At just a few months old, we weren’t expecting to see any discounts on such a new device. But Amazon US has come up trumps, knocking a cool $50 off this year’s iPad Air, taking the price down to $549 (opens in new tab) in a range of colours. You can’t get these devices for less than $599 directly from Apple, so this deal is well worth a look. Question is, will you go for blue, pink, purple, space grey or starlight?

So, after scouring the web all day for the best iPad deals, we’re now in a very good position to identify the top offers. And this one, detailed earlier, which knocks a 2021 10.2-inch iPad to just $299 (opens in new tab) is still up there. A $30 saving might seem pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things, but at $329, this device already offered incredible value for money, so the fact that it’s now down to less that $300 is a total bargain.
The bog standard iPad, this machine is a hardly little device, with 64GB storage and WiFi, it’s great for families to share and surf the web, stream videos, play games and take photos. A fab all-rounder at a really great price.
If you’re new to the iPad, it can be a little intimidating to know where to start. Our guide to the various iPad generations will help you tell your Air from your Pro and your mini from your 9th gen – and, most importantly, decide which is right for you.
Deals on current-year models are rare, but right now in the US, the 2022 iPad Air is available for $50 off, bringing the price down to $559 (opens in new tab). And the Air is an awesome tablet, and almost a match for the Pro – check out our iPad Air 5 review.
It’s hardly the best deal we’ve ever seen, but in the UK the iPad Pro is currently £35 off, down to £864 (opens in new tab). Hopefully a more impressive discount will emerge on the highest-end iPad over the Amazon sale, but hey, £35 off is better than nothing.
Me again. I don’t know about you, but in my house (with three feral children running around) a quality iPad case is essential. Unsurprisingly, Apple’s own iPad shells are the best you can get, but, also unsurprisingly, are often the most expensive. That said, in the UK you can get a brand new Apple Smart Folio for the 5th generation, 12.9-inch iPad Pro for under £90.
Available in two colours, you can save £10 on the black version, now £89 (opens in new tab), or if you’re really brave, it’s also available in white for even less – now just £84.22 (opens in new tab).

If you’re wanting a smaller, more travel friendly tablet we’ve found the perfect deal for you! Originally priced at $499, US buyers can currently snap up the 64GB 2021 iPad Mini for just $399.99. (opens in new tab) That’s a whopping saving just short of $100! This compact tablet measures just 8.3-inches but still packs a punch with Apple’s A15 Bionic Chip. With 20-per cent off, this is the lowest price we’ve seen yet on the iPad Mini.
The UK isn’t yet seeing a deal to equal the US discount on the iPad Pro 12.9, but you can save £34 on the 2021 version of the iPad 10.2 with wifi and 256GB storage, which is down to £424.99 from £459 (opens in new tab) . It’s not quite the lowest price we’ve ever seen on it (that’s £419 from earlier this year), but it’s still a nice saving on a very capable iPad.

Afternoon all – Happy Monday! It’s CB editor Kerrie, here to bring you all the best new iPad deals this afternoon. If you live in the US, I’m about to become your new best friend, with news of $300 off a brand new iPad Pro.
This particular model is the 2021, 12.9-inch iPad Pro with WIFi and 256GB storage, and is currently on sale for just $899 at Amazon (opens in new tab) – that’s the lowest ever recorded price for this device. Amazon’s listing price is $1,199, but we’ve seen it cheaper than that even this year, but nowhere near this low price.
You. Are. Welcome.
P.S UK folk, I haven’t forgotten about you – look out for iPad related goodness coming your way very soon!
